Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-20
This Privacy Policy explains how Synchro ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website, applications, and services (together, the "Services").
We are committed to respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable laws in Quebec and Canada, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the federal PIPEDA.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, company name.
- Account information: login credentials and preferences.
- Billing information: payment method details and billing address (processed by third parties).
- Usage information: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and actions taken.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback.
We only collect information necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
2. Use of your information

- Create and manage your account;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Communicate with you (account, updates, support);

3. Consent
By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. You may withdraw your consent at any time, which may limit access to certain features.
4. Sharing of your information
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, support, payments;
- Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, auditors;
- Authorities: when required by law;
- Business partners: in the context of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
Some providers may be located outside Quebec or Canada. We take reasonable steps to ensure an adequate level of protection.
6. Cookies and analytics
On your first visit, a banner asks what you accept. Until you answer, no measurement tool, recording tool or external service loads: neither their files nor their cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies are active, and they track nothing.
You decide category by category:
- Strictly necessary (always on): remember your cookie choice and your language.
- Audience measurement: PostHog (PostHog Inc., United States) collects pages viewed, referrer, device, browser and an approximate IP address.
- Session recording: PostHog replays your interactions with our public pages so we can see what blocks visitors. Form fields are masked. This category is separate from audience measurement and stays off unless you turn it on explicitly.
- External tools: the Tawk.to chat (United States) and the Calendly booking calendar (United States) set their own cookies and receive your IP address when they load.
Proof of your choice. When you answer the banner, we record on our servers the date and time, the version of the text you were shown, the categories you accepted, the page where the choice was made, a random identifier and a truncated version of your IP address. This record exists solely to demonstrate which choice was expressed and when. We never keep your full IP address in it.
Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately. You can also delete already-stored cookies through your browser settings.
Everything else is served from our own servers, typefaces and images included: until you accept, your browser contacts no third party at all, not even to open a connection in advance. The single exception is the homepage testimonial video, loaded from youtube-nocookie.com only if you click to play it.
7. Protection of your information
We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect your personal information.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary or as required by law.
9. Your rights
- Access your personal information;
